School project completed!
My name is Mary Ann Samson and I have been doing a school project involving the San People and a separate project in which I send supplies to an Aids orphanage. I first became interested in Namibia when we became friends with a German Namibian family who helps support an orphanage. They also employ and support the workers and families of many different ethnic groups, for which we gather supplies. The supplies we donate for the orphanage consist of clothes, shoes and sports equipment. For the employees, we donate the same materials in addition to books and musical instruments. Megan Biesele at Kalahari Peoples Fund has been helping me tremendously with my school project along with my separate project.
