Second Day at Wildebeest Kuil Workshop

Day two dawned with our fourteen elders, four translators and the enthusiastic team of guides who work at Wildebeest Kuil, all waiting to get started. Everyone was tired after yesterday’s hard work, so we eased the pressure a bit and broke up into four groups to make aspects of our next big story: Footsteps.

First Day of Wildebeest Kuil Workshop

Fourteen elders from the !Xun and the Khwe communities at Platfontein gathered at Wildebeest Kuil for the first day of a three-day workshop today.  Activities included a walk on the hillside where the rock engravings are found, a sudden sharp rainstorm, and a creative day talking about and making the story of the day and the place.
